OUR STORY

"CREATING MALTA'S OWN FOOD FESTIVAL WAS A CHALLENGING YET REWARDING JOURNEY"

The story begins with our shared enthusiasm for travel and food. The Malta International Food Festival's concept is to bring cuisines from all over the world together in one place.

The first edition was launched back in 2015. The festival took place in the historical city of Mdina. It drew over 5000 visitors and over 25 exhibitors/caterers. The festival had an immediate impact on Malta's events calendar and has continued to grow year after year.

In 2019, before events were suspended due to Covid-19. With over 80 exhibitors/caterers and over 38,000 guests, that year was our greatest yet.

The 2023 edition was even greater with over 100 exhibitors/caterers and over 48,000 visitors.

After five editions of consistent growth in both exhibitors/caterers and visitors, our team decided it was time to relocate the festival to a larger and more central location; Pjazza Tritoni in Valletta, an amazing venue with organic daily traffic of 100,000 people per day.
